Shaswath Academy is based in Kodambakkam, Chennai, and was founded with a singular purpose: to give Indirect Taxation the depth and clarity it demands, rather than treating it as one more chapter to be memorised.
The name "Shaswath" means permanence: the belief that knowledge, taught properly, becomes a lasting asset rather than short-term memory built for a single attempt. That belief shapes every batch the academy runs, across CA, CMA and CS.

CA S Seetharaman's expertise spans Business Analysis, Indirect Taxation and Risk-Based Internal Audit. Alongside DISA and an Internal Audit diploma, he holds post-qualification certifications in Drafting & Pleading (Litigation Oriented) and Bank Audit.
He serves as faculty for the GST Certification Course of ICAI's Committee on Indirect Taxation, and is a corporate trainer on "GST – Impact & Implementation", regarded as an eminent motivational speaker. He is the author of Indirect Taxation Made Easy, noted for simplifying complex tax concepts.
